Experiences you will never forget

For a group of 100 guests Lisbon Sailing recently organised a sailing regatta for us. The whole process from first contact to the actual event went smoothly and Luís was always available to think along with us for extra requests. That way we were able to incorporate a small awards ceremony with drinks after the sailing which made the afternoon complete. His team was enthusiastic and professional, and a special mention goes out to the photographer who took amazing photos of the activity. We highly recommend Lisbon Sailing and look forward to working with them again in the near future.

Amazing experience with Lisbon Sight Sailing! We rented the two deck catamaran for a private sunset cruise for 70 people and it was perfect. The boat was beautiful and the staff were absolutely wonderful. With two bars and tasty snacks, all of our guests were incredibly happy. The team was also very helpful and easy to work with as we planned the event. Thank you!

Excellent experience! I hired Luís who proved to be an excellent host on board a beautiful and very comfortable catamaran for an event of 40 people. Excellent catering, excellent choice of ambient music, perfect bar service. I recommend it if you are looking for a successful corporate event.

This is a must do while visiting Lisbon!! We were a group of 7 visiting from Canada and among us had 3 kids aged 5-15. The experience of seeing this beautiful city from the water provides an entirely different perspective and the sunset cruise in particular is absolutely gorgeous! Luis and his crew were amazing hosts. Luis’s guided tour and extensive knowledge of Portuguese history made it even more memorable! Great music, great people, and great wine on board! The sailing trip was by far one of the highlights of our trip.

This was a highlight of our 18 day trip to Portugal/Spain. I recommend this for everyone to see Lisbon from the water, with incredible views from this port city. Luis and Tomas were the perfect hosts. Great sailing, very knowledgeable with the Portugal history and the sights as we rambled on the Tagas River with a beautiful view of 25 de Abril Bridge. Luis and Tomas kept us laughing and shared local wines, cheeses and meats on our way back from the Commercial Square to our dock n the Doca de Santo Amaro. We even have a selfie with Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa with the president's app. My husband gets seasick and this was not even a thought on the smooth sailing. Allow time from the taxi to get to the dock as the taxis are not real sure where to drop off.

Há experiências que são tão únicas que não precisam de muitas palavras: bastaria ver no final o largo sorriso nos rostos e o corpo e mente totalmente relaxados. Vale cada minuto este passeio pelo lado aquático da cidade. O Luis para além de ser um maravilhoso anfitrião, é um óptimo guia da cidade que, vista do rio Tejo, ganha outra dimensão. Fomos 12, num passeio ao pôr-do-sol. O barco tinha óptimas condições, estava muito limpo e arrumado. Os snacks que serviram de muita qualidade e servidos no tempo certo. Os skippers todos muito atenciosos, inteligentes e acima de tudo respeitadores da personalidade de cada um: quem quis descansar e apanhar sol esteve tranquilo, quem quis uma aula de história ouviu todas as explicações sobre a cidade e os monumentos que estávamos a ver e até houve tempo para uma mini aula de navegagem. É um tour que mesmo feito num grupo de amigos com personalidades diferentes serve a todos. Foi uma experiência memorável!

Que experiência incrível! Um passeio perfeito para o final de tarde, acompanhado por um bom vinho e alguns petiscos... sem poder esquecer do Luís e a sua equipa que fizeram questão de ir além para tornar este dia ainda mais especial!!

Depois de viver muitos anos em Lisboa, pensava já ter conhecido a cidade de todas as perspectivas possíveis. A Lisbon Sight Sailing mostrou-me o quanto estava enganado. A cidade é tão, ou mais bonita vista do tejo e sem dúvida quero repetir a experiencia. Além disso a equipa é estraordinária e leva-nos a sitios que são verdadeiras perolas para tirar fotos.

We went during our honeymoon and we absolutely loved every minute from start to finish. Luiz is a great host and is there for you with any questions or service you need(: great experience 10/10 recommend!

What a wonderful way to spend the afternoon! Everything was perfect - from the food to the drinks to the views. The crew was attentive, engaging and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our time on board. The food was expertly prepared and designed to be paired with the free-flowing local wines and beers. The catamaran departed and returned promptly on schedule. I would highly recommend this experience for families, friends and team-building opportunities.

Our guide was incredibly nice and knew everything we asked him. We learnt sooooo much about lisboa while we listened to good music, drank great Portuguese wine and ate delicious portugués cheeses and hams. Definitely a must do and I would recommend it be your first stop on your trip to Lisboa! Believe me you will understand after why it’s important!

THE HIGHLIGHTS - Gorgeous catamaran (est. 50ft) - Professional and friendly staff - Amazing BBQ and Portuguese wine - No hassle booking and email support - The perfect experience Last week, a group of 10 friends booked a 5-hour tour with Lisbon Sight Sailing, BBQ and drinks included. We travelled west along the Portuguese coast toward Carcavelos and it was paradise! Honestly, the perfect day! I wish I had booked it for 10 hours! When I return to Lisbon next year with my family, I will 100% book another day trip with Lisbon Sight Sailing! If you have any doubt, trust me, it was worth every penny! The experience surpassed all of my expectations and delivered on every level! BOOKING Booking was extremely straight-forward, and all of my questions were answered, thanks to SONIA PERES. If you are booking - or thinking about booking and have general question - speak with her directly. She answered every email instantly, managed my group's special requests, organized the BBQ, and helped me determine the ideal route for the day. (Thank you so much, Sonia!!!) THE BOAT Though a 12 person catamaran was available - and though there were only 10 of us - we opted for the 16 person catamaran, and it was a great choice. With tons of extra room for everyone to sunbath, relax on the rear deck, or hang out in the cabin. The boat was well maintained and its facilities (kitchen, bathrooms, etc.) were very clean. THE CREW I was happily surprised to see a team of FOUR assigned to our trip! The skipper, two team members managing food and drink, and LUIS LIZ, the team lead who ensured everything ran smoothly. Not only did Luis check in on each guest multiple times throughout the tour, he also took time to chat about things to do and see in Lisbon and other activities across Portugal! His involvement took the tour to the next level and I'm very grateful for his help. On my next trip with my family, I'll definitely put in a request for him to join us! (Thank you, Luis!!!) OTHER 1) We paid extra (est. CAD$40 per person) for the BBQ and drink package. Fresh meat and seafood, delicious beer and wine in the sun, pastries, salad... the list goes on. If you are thinking about taking this tour, make sure you get this add-on for your group. 100% worth it! 2) Stop for a swim! We anchored for about 45 minutes to enjoy the water. It was a perfect break from the heat and I would strongly recommend it! Just be sure to wait 30 minutes after eating ;-) 3) I noted above that our tour was 5 hours. If I had to do it again, I would recommend 6-10 hours. On a perfect day, the last thing you want is to head home early. The catamaran comes equipped with two bathrooms and a large indoor space for those looking to get a break from the sun (in case that is on your mind). OVERALL Book it this day trip if you're travelling to Lisbon - you won't regret it! Sonia and Luis were superstars and will ensure everything is fully organized and runs smoothly!
